Hannah Altehenger

I am a philosopher. Currently, I am a guest researcher at Umeå University (Sweden), as a Feodor Lynen research fellow (funded by the Alexander von Humboldt-Stiftung). I am also a participant in the project „Automating Technologies and the Future of Meaningful Work“ at Oslo Metropolitan University (Norway).

My area of expertise is philosophical moral psychology. I have worked on various topics within that domain, such as, e.g., self-control, the self, artificial agents and responsibility/blame, climate change and emotions. My current research is focused on moral responsibility, self-control, and the future of meaningful work.

I received my PhD from Humboldt University Berlin in 2018. As a PhD-student, I also spent some time at Oslo University and University of Michigan.
